Artsakh president makes new appointments

Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Araik Harutyunyan appointed today Major General Jalal Harutyunyan as Minister of Defense and Commander of the Defense Army. Major General Armen Abrahamyan was dismissed as deputy director of the National Security Service.
YEREVAN, June 8. /ARКА/. Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Araik Harutyunyan appointed today Major General Jalal Harutyunyan as Minister of Defense and Commander of the Defense Army. Major General Armen Abrahamyan was dismissed as deputy director of the National Security Service.
Colonel Mher Hayriyan was appointed as Deputy Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Artsakh and Araik Baghiryan was appointed as Acting Minister of Health.
Arthur Aghabekyan was appointed as the chief adviser to the President. Azatui Simonyan was appointed as Advisor to the President and Lilit Hakopjanyan was appointed as Advisor to the President on Health issues.
Araik Harutyunyan also approved the government’s decision to appoint Gagik Martirosyan as Deputy Minister of Economy and Production Infrastructures. -0-
