YEREVAN, May 7 /ARKA/ Novosti-Armenia. The number of Armenia's permanent population, according to current records based on the 2022 census, as of April 1, 2024, was 3,039,700 against 2,941,500 as of the same period in 2023. This is evidenced by the data of the National Statistical Committee of the Republic.

The urban population amounted to 1,958,700 inhabitants, with 1,127,000 inhabitants in Yerevan. In rural areas, the number of population is 1,081,000. -0-
