The Armenian-Russian Center for Humanitarian Response sent another batch of humanitarian aid to Syria.
YEREVAN, August 13. /ARKA/. The Armenian-Russian Center for Humanitarian Response sent another batch of humanitarian aid to Syria. The decision to send the aid was approved by the governments of Armenia and Russia, Armenia's Ministry of Emergencies said today. It said the humanitarian aid is for the Syrian people affected by the armed conflict.
Armenian Minister of Emergency Situations Felix Tsolakyan was present when 9 containers with humanitarian aid -52.5 tons of canned meat, 35 tons of canned fish, 40 tons of granulated sugar, and 14.5 tons of dry rations - were loaded on trucks.
The humanitarian aid will be handed over to the Syrian Red Crescent Society, which will oversee its distribution. -0-
