Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) president Bako Sahakyan has signed a decree today extending the state of emergency situation until June 11. The one-month emergency situation was declared in Artsakh on April 12, 2020.
YEREVAN, May 11. /ARKA/. Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) president Bako Sahakyan has signed a decree today extending the state of emergency situation until June 11. The one-month emergency situation was declared in Artsakh on April 12, 2020.
The decree says that the decision to extend the emergency situation is prompted by the fact that new coronavirus disease continues to threaten the life and health of the population and may lead to a violation of the natural conditions of human life.
As of May 11, 14 confirmed cases of coronavirus were reported in Artsakh. Eight patients have recovered and 15 have self-isolated. Overall, 359 tests were conducted. No coronavirus-related death was reported. The first case of COVID-19 infection in Artsakh was recorded on April 7th. -0-
