A new building of “Ayb” high school opened in Yerevan Saturday. The official opening ceremony was attended by Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan, the presidential press service reported.

YEREVAN, November 26. /ARKA/. A new building of “Ayb” high school opened in Yerevan Saturday. The official opening ceremony was attended by Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan, the presidential press service reported.

The president saw the new building and talked to pupils and teachers of the school, says the report.

“Ayb” educational foudnation aims at becoming an ideal model for Armenian school of the 21st century and has equipped its new building with modern technologies.

Sargsyan also attended the ceremony of consecration of a memorial stone at Surb Targmanchats (Saint Translators’) church being built at the educational complex and the opening of the Honor Wall for all philanthropists who donated money for construction of the school.

Chairman of “Ayb” Board of Trustees priest Mesrop Adamyan handed a letter of gratitude to the president for contribution in the construction of the school.

The aim of “Ayb”, the first Armenian high school campus, is to bring up educated and competitive generation. The authors of the project strive to create an ideal educational model to support development of the overall educational system in the country.

“Ayb” educational foundation was set up in Armenia in December 2006 to develop a new culture of education in Armenia, help improve educational sector and support the youth.

Over the years, “Ayb” foundation implemented a number of important projects, particularly on deep subject knowledge, design and creation of modern laboratories in schools and development of advanced teaching methodology. -0-
