Residents of Armenia could not clearly identify an external partner for solving socio-economic problems – survey

YEREVAN, March 12. /ARКА/. Respondents of a public opinion survey conducted by the Armenian office of the GALLUP International Association were unable to express a clear preference for any foreign policy partner in solving their socio-economic problems.
In response to the question, "With which geopolitical centers do you see prospects for solving Armenia's socio-economic problems?" 27.8% of respondents said that relations with Russia should be developed, while 25.8% supported developing relations with the European Union. At the same time, 15.9% believe that collaboration with the United States is necessary, while 13.3% preferred Iran.
3.4% of respondents favored developing relations with the EAEU, while 11% of citizens believe that no one should collaborate with anyone to address socio-economic issues.
A total of 1,100 respondents participated in the telephone survey conducted from February 27 to March 6 in Armenia.
