Tax revenues and state duties flowing into Armenia's state budget totaled AMD 2.0271 trillion in January–August 2026, an increase of AMD 257.8 billion (or 14.6%) compared to the same period in 2025.

Tax revenues and state duties flowing into Armenia's state budget totaled AMD 2.0271 trillion in January–August 2026, an increase of AMD 257.8 billion (or 14.6%) compared to the same period in 2025. This was reported by Armenia's State Revenue Committee (SRC) following a meeting of the Public Council under the agency's chairman.
According to the SRC, growth was recorded across virtually all major tax categories, including VAT, personal income tax, corporate profit tax, and excise tax. The primary revenue sources were wholesale and retail trade, the mining industry, construction, and the manufacturing sector.
The committee reported that AMD 218.4 billion was refunded to taxpayers during the reporting period—an increase of AMD 24.6 billion (or 12.7%) compared to the previous year.
Audits and analytical work resulted in additional tax assessments totaling AMD 126.7 billion, exceeding the figure for January–August 2025 by AMD 33.1 billion (or 35%).
