YEREVAN, June 13. /ARKA/. Armenian President Robert Kocharyan dismissed Deputy Police Department Chief Hovhannes Varyan on Wednesday.

Presidential press office told ARKA News Agency that the dismissal was grounded on Police Law’s Article #13, under which the president relieved Police Department deputy chiefs from their duty and appointed them on the department heads’ initiative. M.V.-0--
