YEREVAN, December 6. /ARKA/. Armenia and the European Union are discussing the need for creating and establishing an institute of strategic communications.

The issue was discussed today by the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan and Ambassador Vasilis Maragos, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, the government press service reported.

It said the interlocutors discussed in this context the possibilities and mechanisms of research and implementation of the best experience of the European Union.

Presenting the Crossroads of Peace project, designed by the government of Armenia to resume transport links in the South Caucasus Harutyunyan noted that the Armenian government counts on the active support of all international partners for its implementation.

An agreement was reached on joint efforts to increase the efficiency of the current cooperation between Armenia and the EU. -0-
