YEREVAN, June 13. /ARKA/. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent today a message to his Syrian counterpart, Bashar Asad, congratulating him on his reelection, the Armenian presidential press office reports.

Asad won the election amid the ongoing war by scoring more than 88% of votes.

“I hope that Syria will restore peace and stability through national dialogue for the sake of Syrian people’s prosperity,” the press office quoted Sargsyan as saying in his message.

The Armenian president wished Asad good health and successes. -0----
