Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan offered his condolences to US president Barak Obama on the disastrous landslide in the north-east of Washington state, the press office of Armenia’s president reported.
YEREVAN, March 27. /ARKA/. Armenia’s president Serzh Sargsyan offered his condolences to US president Barak Obama on the disastrous landslide in the north-east of Washington state, the press office of Armenia’s president reported.
The landslide killed about two dozens of people; over 100 are missing. The 54m deep landslide destroyed 30 houses near the town of Oso, about 90km north of Seattle.
Sargsyan expressed belief that the large-scale rescue works will be successful. –0--
