CSTO secretary general to visit Armenia next month

Nikolay Bordyuzha, secretary general of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), an intergovernmental military alliance of several former Soviet republics, will visit Armenia in February.
YEREVAN, January 13. /ARKA/. Nikolay Bordyuzha, secretary general of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), an intergovernmental military alliance of several former Soviet republics, will visit Armenia in February this year, the press service of Armenia’s National Security Council said today following its secretary, Arthur Baghdasaryan’s meeting with Bordyuzha in Moscow.

It said the two men discussed a wide range of cooperation issues between Armenia and the CSTO, including a detailed discussion of Channel, Illegal Migrant and Proxy programs designed to combat drug trafficking, illegal migration and secure iinformation security respectively. They were said to have also discussed issues pertaining to conduction of exercises of CSTO’s Rapid Reaction Force.
