Netherlands not planning to expand arms cooperation with Armenia - Foreign Minister

YEREVAN, March 12. /ARKA/. Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp stated that his country has no intention of expanding cooperation with Armenia in the area of armaments.
"Armenia is working to balance its foreign policy, and in this context, we are aiming to increase the level of interaction between our countries. This will contribute to growing cooperation between Armenia and the EU. However, there is no connection to armaments," said Minister Veldkamp at a briefing with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan in Yerevan.
The Dutch minister acknowledged the possibility of intensifying relations with Armenia in other areas, such as the economy and community ties. "But this does not involve military cooperation. There is no connection to armaments," Veldkamp emphasized.
