Russian president Vladimir Putin plans to visit Armenia in early December, Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov told reporters today after talks with his Armenian opposite number Edward Nalbandian in Moscow.
YEREVAN, November 18. / ARKA /. Russian president Vladimir Putin plans to visit Armenia in early December, Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov told reporters today after talks with his Armenian opposite number Edward Nalbandian in Moscow.
Lavorv said he met with Nalbandian to discuss preparations for the upcoming visit. Lavrov also said the process of formalities for the launch of talks on Armenia’s integration with the Eurasian Economic Commission was in full swing.
“We will work to bring it to completion in time,” Lavrov was quoted as saying by Novosti-Armenia news agency.
Lavorv also said Moscow hopes that Armenia and Azerbaijan will resume contacts on the Nagorno- Karabakh conflict and is ready to assist in creating an atmosphere for its peaceful and negotiated settlement. -0-
