YEREVAN, February 10. /ARKA/. Speed limits are revised for some roads near schools in Yerevan as from February 9 2014, Armenia’s traffic police reported.

Road signs setting maximum allowable limit at 40 kilometers per hour will be valid only on working days from 8:00 till 18:00, whereas 60 kilometers per hour will be the maximum permissible speed in residential areas from 18:00 till 08:00 on the next day.

The change will be reflected in operation of speed guns on these road sections.

The traffic police say additional traffic signs reducing the speed limit to 40 km/h will be installed nearby schools. –0—
