YEREVAN, July 22. /ARKA/. Armenia’s national freestyle wrestling team has successfully performed at an international tournament held July 20-24 in Warsaw, Poland.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, all four Armenian wrestlers in the national team won medals.

Arman Andreasyan (70 kg) won the gold medal and the title of champion, defeating the American wrestler 3-2 in the final.

Silver medal went to Arman Avagyan (79 kg), who 2-10 lost to Ukraine in the final. Manvel Khndzrtsyan (57 kg) and Hrayr Alikhanian (74 kg) became bronze medalists.

The Greco-Roman wrestling team will feature Rudik Mkrtchyan (55 kg), Gevorg Gharibyan (60 kg), Hrachya Poghosyan (63 kg), Slavik Galstyan (67 kg), Shant Khachatryan (72 kg), Karapet Chalyan (82 kg), Gevorg Tadevosyan (87 kg), Artur Alexanyan (97 kg) and David Ovasapyan (130 kg). -0-
