Armenian foreign ministry publishes Covid-19 prompted requirements for citizens wishing to travel abroad

YEREVAN, July 21. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Foreign Ministry has published the list of countries with their specific entry and exit restrictions, set for foreign citizens, including citizens of Armenia due to Covid-19 pandemic, saying they are being updated regularly and citizens should examine them carefully before travelling abroad.
For example, to travel from Armenia to Russia, one needs to have a negative test for coronavirus in the Travel without Borders mobile application. As for students, they must notify the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation 10 days before their trip in order to be included on the Russian portal of public services; otherwise the student will not be able to enter the country.
To enter Russia, one must have a coronavirus test taken no later than three days before departure confirmed by certificate. Upon arrival in Russia, students must take a second test within 72 hours. There are also other restrictions - citizens of Armenia can enter o Russia only through 20 airports, the list of which is available on the website of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
As for Georgia, which is popular in the summer season, air and land entry is open for Armenian citizens through Bagratashen-Sadakhlo and Bavra-Ninotsminda border check points, open daily from 10:00 to 20:00. To travel to Georgia, one must also have a coronavirus test taken 72 hours in advance, or submit a certificate of full vaccination and a negative coronavirus test.
When visiting only with a negative test, 72 hours after arriving in Georgia, another test must be taken (fully vaccinated people are exempt of it). At the same time, children under 10 years old do not need to take the test. Before visiting the country, one must also submit an electronic application at https://registration.gov.ge/pub/form/8_protocol_for_arrivals_in_georgia/tk6157/, to indicate basic personal data and address of stay in Georgia.
It should be borne in mind that a curfew is in force in Georgia from 23:00 to 04:00 (a fine for violating it is 2 thousand GEL), as well as a mandatory requirement for wearing masks in open and closed areas (the fine for violation is 20 GEL, for repeated violation - 40 GEL). –0--
