New Hyatt Place Hotel opens in Armenia

Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan attended today the inauguration ceremony of a new Hyatt Place Yerevan hotel, worth approximately $15 million.

YEREVAN, December 4. / ARKA /. Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan attended today the inauguration ceremony of a new Hyatt Place Yerevan hotel, worth approximately $15 million.
Sargsyan’s press office said the president was shown around the 10- storey hotel, built in accordance with international hotel standards.
Construction of the hotel, located near Republic Square in downtown Yerevan, started in 2011. It occupies an area of about 7000 square meters and has created 70 new jobs with an average salary of 200,000 drams (about $495).
According to top managers of Interarm –M company that owns the hotel, (it is managed by Hyatt Hotels Corporation), the opening of Hyatt Place Yerevan will be an impetus to improvement of quality of local hotel services. -0-
