Yuri Khachaturov will leave the position of the secretary general of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Zhamanak reports.
YEREVAN, September 13. /ARKA/. Yuri Khachaturov will leave the position of the secretary general of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Zhamanak reports.
According to the newspaper, the leaders of all the CSTO countries, responding to the Armenian authorities’ request, gave their consent to his recall.
Nobody doubts that Armenia will not be allowed to replace Khachaturov with another person.
This means that the rotating position of CSTO secretary general will be given to Belarus, which is next in line.
It is difficult to say whether Khachaturov will return to Armenia after his dismissal or will prefer to dodge behind Russia, the newspaper says. -0----
