YEREVAN, April 3. /ARKA/. At a meeting on Thursday, the Armenian government approved the allocation of 525.4 million drams in 2025 for the improvement of several school buildings.

As RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan noted, the funds will be allocated through the redistribution of budget financing from the Ministry’s programs intended for the implementation of capital projects.

“In particular, the funds are planned to finance the repair of one school building, the repair of buildings at 82 schools, and the gasification of the gym in the building of one of the newly constructed schools,” Andreasyan noted.

She added that, within the framework of the state program for the construction and improvement of 300 schools, 121 buildings were selected for repair. Work is already underway in 21 of these buildings, with 21.4 million drams allocated for the project. ($1 = 391.16 drams).
