Covid-19 cases down in Armenia to 1,431

Some 1,431 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Armenia from September 19 to September 25, down from 2,142 cases recorded a week earlier, the Ministry of Health reported.
YEREVAN, September 26. /ARKA/. Some 1,431 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Armenia from September 19 to September 25, down from 2,142 cases recorded a week earlier, the Ministry of Health reported.
Four people died from Covid-19 during the reporting week (10 people died during the previous week).
According to the Ministry of Health, some 5,523 PCR tests were performed on September 19-25. Also, some 2,133 people recovered. As many as 2,307 COVID-19 infected people are still undergoing treatment, according to the ministry.
In total, 442,875 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed since the start of the pandemic and 430,192 of those infected were cured. The death toll from the disease stands now at 8,683 people. -0-
