The government of Armenia decided today to release additionally 167.9 million drams as subventions to Aragatsotn, Ararat, Armavir, Lori, Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor and Shirak regions.
YEREVAN, November 1. /ARKA/. The government of Armenia decided today to release additionally 167.9 million drams as subventions to Aragatsotn, Ararat, Armavir, Lori, Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor and Shirak regions.
The acting Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Suren Papikyan said the decision is prompted by the need to co-finance a string of projects designed to develop economic and social infrastructures in these regions.
The total cost of the projects is estimated at 419.5 million drams, of which 167.9 million drams is co-financed by the government. He said that these funds will be used to resolve urgent issues. ($ 1 - 486.55 drams). -0-
