Qatari businessmen invited to tourism exhibition in Yerevan

YEREVAN, May 6. /ARKA/. Armenia and Qatar are discussing ways to deepen cooperation in tourism and investment opportunities.
According to the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, these issues, as well as mechanisms for promoting Qatari investments in Armenia, were discussed at a meeting between the head of the Committee, Lusine Gevorgyan, and member of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Tourism Committee, Sheikh Hamad bin Ahmed Al Thani.
Gevorgyan emphasized the importance of developing bilateral cooperation and presented the tourism potential of Armenia. She invited Qatari businessmen to visit Armenia to get acquainted with investment opportunities and take part in a tourism exhibition to be held in Yerevan this November.
Tigran Gevorgyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Qatar, also took part in the meeting.
